Ken Womble is the owner and primary operator of Grasshopper Lawn Care. He was raised on a farm in the rural community of Bronson, Florida. As a result, his passion  for  landscaping  and agriculture was encouraged at a young age.  He also acquired a solid work ethic of unwavering integrity and dedication.  In 1988 Ken married his lovely wife Michelle and soon moved to Gainesville.  There, after years of prayer and preparation, he ventured to invest in his passion.  Grasshopper Lawn Care was born in May of 2002.

Ken began with one customer, who was a  friend. This would be the basis  for Grasshopper's service motto of customers becoming friends.  With this model,  Grasshopper  quickly  grew  and  has  expanded to serve more than 60  businesses and residential customers in the Gainesville area.
